Book Review

Personally speaking being naturally inclined towards spirituality this book had been on my list for quit some time .I have been a Avid follower of Meetu Bishts deep insightful quotes on life, philosophy ,karma, destiny, Spirituality . I used to look forward for her post on Insta regularly.

This book is a wonderful example of building the gap between Spirituality in words and Spirituality in action. A lot of us these days claim to be spiritual, but do we actually live spiritually?, being inclined is a different thing, and imbibing the subject entirely that it becomes a part of your lifestyle then you can say that you are spiritual.

The book’s motive is to help spiritually inclined people integrate spirituality into their lifestyles.

The book starts by beautifully clearing the differences between Religion ,philosophy and Spirituality which no other book has convincingly explained with so much clarity and ease. The mid-section of the book also dispels misconceptions about what spirituality is and what is not.

This book is a Rational understanding of spirituality which offers a logical, analytical, and practical perspective on the subject .The Author has given hidden logical depths to this Sensitive topic based on her pure experience.

The best part of the book is 100 Attributes or qualities of spiritually inclined people where a lot of spiritual seeker would resonate with so many qualities deeply depending on their level of evolved consciousness.

Every sentence and the intentions of the book reflects the pure authenticity of the author as if she is written it through the purest of the intentions. The clear intention of the writer is prominently visible in this sentence from the book

“ I am neither a self-professed mystic nor a yogi. I am also not a spiritual master or teacher. I am someone on this route for the love of the subject and for the desire to make it a way of life “

The second best part of this book is it gave me an eye opener of rethinking my definition of what spirituality  means to me . And how I can design one for myself based on the wisdom and knowledge I imbibe and make it a part of life.

Basically bridging the gap between knowing and doing. Knowing the knowledge or literally living that knowledge by reflecting it in every aspect of your personality and behavior.

This book had broadened my perspective about Spirituality instantly and so naturally that now I too feel that Spirituality is all about experimenting with the knowledge we have received to understand who we really are and what is the right way to be in order to live one’s full potential.

Spirituality is when Higher knowledge is brought into action and it reflects in our behaviour which then gives us the experience that help us evolve .It is about staying connected with our deeper self while living a regular life and not disowning it completely.

Who should Read this Book ?

  • The book best suits for the spiritual seekers .
  • As well as atheists who do not want to fit in any religious box but are more keen on finding their own meaning and purpose in life by using their inner self as the GPS.
  • A person interested in existential questions on life death, afterlife, karma.
  • This book is also recommended for better Mental Wellbeing by truly connecting to deeper self .
  • I would also recommend this book for every soul on this earth to understand that deep down we all are spirits and lets know what are those spiritual qualities or Attributes we should imbibe in one self to make this world a better place vibrating on same frequency.
